No longer same price for all size noodles 🥲 but still a delicious spot for tsukemen in the Bay Area! 🍜 @shugetsu.ca in San Mateo specializes in dipping ramen aka tsukemen and they used to charge the same price all noodle sizes but now it’s $5 extra for the 400g portion (the regular 130g and large 200g are still the same price) The classic Shugetsu broth was super flavorful and smoky, which is different from the typical tsukemen broth that I’m used to, but I really enjoyed it! The noodles were thick and chewy just like how it’s supposed to be 👍 and I liked the jammy marinated egg as well 🥚 Overall it was a little different from your classic tsukemen but I’m glad I tried it out!
