Everyone talks about how cute Nara’s deer are. But no one talks about whether we should be feeding or touching them. They’re considered sacred, sure. But now they’ve become a tourist attraction. You can buy crackers to feed them, people chase them for selfies, and many pet them like they’re in a petting zoo. Some say it’s part of the culture. Others say it’s just animal exploitation wrapped in tradition. What do you think? Should we be feeding and petting these deer? Or should we just observe them respectfully? I’m genuinely curious where people stand on this. #narajapan #naratravel #japantravel #animalabuse #naradeers #animalwelfare #animalsafety
