Do double check carry on size before purchasing luggage? I know, I know I about to get 100s of comments saying “I travel all the time with my Beis without a problem”and I am glad you have never had a problem before! Beis has some amazing features and I truly wish that it was the correct size for carry on but I won’t risk it! However, I have seen time and time again Beis luggage having to be checked at the gate due to size, make it into the plane only for the flight attendant to have to smash the luggage with the overhead lid to make it fit (damaging the carry on), and on regional jets (Embraer 175 jets) watching people struggle to even get them to fit in the bin since those are much smaller than Boeing planes. As we go into summer months with travel ramping up don’t be that person who fights with the gate agent about the size of your carry on. If you prefer hard sided carry ons I totally understand that but please make sure whatever luggage you buys fits most size requirements (generally the rule is 22x14x9) especially if you fly internationally as international airlines can even be more strict with size requirements! Please don’t spend $200+ on a piece of luggage that only meets requirements for 2 airlines (Frontier airlines and Southwest Airlines).
