Por Lo Shan or Pineapple mountain is dubbed as Hong Kong’s mini Grand Canyon. But, manage your expectations, this is more likely a Ravine - a deep narrow gorge with steep sides. What makes it interesting is that it’s a unique, eroded rock formation. Its natural canyon-like features have made it very popular with hikers and photographers in the recent years. To start the hike, make your way to the San Wai light rail stop. You can also start the hike from the Leung King light rail stop, but in this guide, we’ll use San Wai as our starting point. 1. Take the West Rail Line to Siu Hong MTR station. 2. From Siu Hong, follow the signs to LIGHT RAIL TRAIN 505 heading south to San Wai. 3. Arriving at San Wai Cross the tracks, and you will be in front of Leung King Plaza. 4. Go around Leung King Plaza on the right. You will see a children playground. Continue walking until you reach a road and the road path going uphill. That’s the start of the trail. 📍Por Lo Shan, Hong Kong
