You can fight me on this, but I think this is the most beautiful hotel in Sonoma. Opened in 2022, @themadrona is a hotel in a restored 1880s mansion. Many of the buildings on site are historic, including a former schoolhouse. Interior designer Jay Jeffers leaned into the property’s charm, giving it a maximalist facelift with an impressive collection of art throughout. STAY HERE ✨ Hotel: The Madrona ✨ Location: Healdsburg (1 mile from downtown) ✨ Price: We spent closer to $625 / night after taxes, resort fees, etc. — and that’s after we took advantage of a mid-week stay and anniversary promo. Definitely a splurge, but Jon and I were celebrating our birthdays (they’re 3 weeks apart!) and it felt worth it. 🎉 I loved all the little touches, from the comfy robes to the firepits by the pool . We even joined for their monthly outdoor movie night— so fun!
