Here are my all-time favorite photos that I shot and let me tell you why :: Skim through my little stories. Isn’t it tempting to see what’s on creator’s mind? [ photos are chosen specifically by the professional part of my photographic identity aside from personal perception of photo memories and life events ] It was quite a challenge to choose from across the years that I’ve been shooting, but I did it. 1: NYFW backstage photo - is my first experience shooting at Fashion week behind the curtain of a show, and the glance of a lighting from a model’s face seems not only sanctifying but meaningful. 2: New York’s classics with Soho streets on background and cinematic frame look reminds me of a time back in the beginning of my photography where I couldn’t even dream of achieving that look, let alone shooting on the streets of NYC. The main character is my mom, the person that partly made it all possible to me which doubles the significance. 3: Experimental shooting - or playing with weird lighting on set and weirding out the curves on editing. It’s something I barely allowed myself to do. Yes, it looks completely out of my style. Do I still like it? I think yes. 4: portrait. My first ever film photo shot by me. I could tell that the whole era of my film photography started here, but mainly I love this photo for the emotions of my dear friend, and those elusive parts that I think I accomplished to capture in this series. 5: The Muse - concept photoshoot on film. This photo is the header of the shoot, and I LOVED how everything turned out there. More photos of this one you can see in my highlight “film” 6: Personal project NYC x LAX - a shooting I set myself at the end of this year to capture this year in the most obvious sense - moving from LA to NYC. 7: this one is special… Sewing Ukrainian Flag on Plaza de Catslunya on 24th of February 2022. The first day of War. Frustration and a sense of unity were filling out the space and this frame, too. It’s such a sorrow for me to capture it, but it’s a part of the history, too. BW film bought a couple days earlier couldn’t reflect it better. Which one is your favorite?
