▼Spot info▼ 📍Bread, Espresso and Arashiyama Garden @bread.espresso.and.arashiyama 🥖About This popular café is attached to a well-known bakery in Arashiyama. It’s usually very crowded, but I was lucky to visit on a quiet day—just after the lunch rush on a weekday. The bakery has several locations, but the Arashiyama branch stands out with its elegant, traditional Japanese design that beautifully matches the surrounding atmosphere. This time, I visited the café rather than the bakery itself. Of course, you can still enjoy their signature breads inside the café. I had the ham and cheese sandwich, and it was surprisingly light despite being quite filling. The flavor was perfectly balanced, and the salad on the side was delicious too. I’d love to come back in the morning next time—maybe to try their French toast. If you’re visiting Arashiyama, it’s definitely worth stopping by for a relaxing break. ____________________ 🗺️Address 45-15 Sagatenryuji Susukinobabacho, Ukyo Ward, Kyoto City, Kyoto 616-8385, Japan 🚃Access ⚪︎5-minute walk from Arashiyama Station on the Keifuku Arashiyama Line ⚪︎15-minute walk from Arashiyama Station on the Hankyu Arashiyama Line 🕙Opening hours 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM Irregular holidays
