Australia ➡️ England ➡️ Portugal If you told me 4 years ago that I’d be living in Portugal I would definitely believe you, but I’d be slightly confused. 💭 My “dream” when I left home was to live comfortably in England, work when I needed and travel as often as I could. It wasn’t until I actually arrived in England when I realised how out of reach that actually was for me 😵‍💫 My real story didn’t actually begin until a year and a half into my “two year trip” when I arrived in Portugal for a work exchange for just 6 weeks. I was based in England at the time, and the idea of returning there at the end of my travels was really upsetting. I never felt like England was a home to me, no matter how much I tried to adjust. But I never expected Portugal to become my home so quickly🏡 My life changed so drastically in such a short amount of time and it’s crazy to think my life would be nothing like this if I hadn’t booked one flight in 2022 all the places I’ve seen, and all the people I’ve met, it all wouldn’t have happened, and that’s a scary thought.
