One of the most magical experiences I had in Seoul so far, but barely anyone ever heard of it: 📍Changgyeonggung Palace, Seoul It’s one of the 5 Main Palaces in Seoul and together with the Gyeonghuigung Palace quite infamous. Still it has a lot to offer from scenic walks, beautiful old Hanok buildings and endless interesting history facts! It was destroyed by the Japanese multiple times during the colonial times even degraded to a zoo, but the Korean people and kings rebuilt it again and again. 💪🏼🏯 Our tour guide explained everything in such an interesting way, that I didn’t realize that we spent more than 2 hours on the palace grounds wandering through the buildings while the sun set and it became completely dark. ✨ Different than the Gyeongbokgung or Changdeokgung Tours, the Changgyeonggung Night Tour is available from July to October and you can easily book this one online: https://tinyurl.com/palacenight 📍 서울특별시 종로구 창경궁로 185 (와룡동) 💸 22$ with English guide, 1$ without guide Send me a DM to @nextstopkorea to get the link 🫶🏼 #korea #palace #changgyeonggung #gyeongbokgungpalace #koreanpalace #seoul #southkorea #tourguide #english #korean
