Check the official site and book early if you’re travelling in peak season. 🚌 The only way to do this experience is via an official guided tour (no self-exploring). Coaches depart from The Shire’s Rest (Matamata) or Rotorua, making it easy to reach even without a car. 🌦️ Bring a jacket — evenings can be chilly even in summer 🌙.
