I went to Canary Wharf Winter Lights this week and honestly… there’s something magical between the reflections on the water and the quiet glow of the installations. This year marks their 10th year anniversary and the installations are beautiful and playful. My personal favourites👇 🌞 SOL at Crossrail Place Roof Garden: walking under glowing planets in a glass garden felt unreal 🌊 Amplitudes at Eden Dock: light rippling across the water, hypnotic and oddly calming, even more spectacular when the DLR trains cross over. There are also interactive pieces that react to your movements (one even made from recycled milk bottles), so it’s not just a walk-and-look situation, you actually get involved. Perfect for an after-work wander, date night or solo reset when London feels a bit grey. 📍 Canary Wharf (grab a map from the volunteers when you arrive) 🆓 Free, no booking 🕔 5–10pm daily | 20–31 January 👉 Save this for later if you’re looking for free things to do in London 👉 Follow for more London gems & winter plans Yes, I said it twice!
