▼Shop info▼ 📍Otanien tea shop @otanien_official 🍵About I visited a peaceful teahouse near Tofukuji Station, just one stop away from Kyoto Station. The dessert I had was a bittersweet treat—not too sweet—and I enjoyed a quiet, relaxing moment there. The shop also offers a variety of beautiful souvenirs, and it seems their matcha is served at nearby temples. From the bus stop nearby, you can easily access Kiyomizu-dera, Gion, and Sanjusangendo—so it’s a great spot to take a break during your sightseeing. They also offer a matcha-making experience, so be sure to check their website for more details! 🗺️Address 7 Naginomori-cho, Imakumano, Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto 🚃Access ・By Train Approximately 10 minutes on foot from Keihan or JR Tofukuji Station. ・By Bus Approximately 2 minutes on foot north from the “Sennyūji-michi” City Bus stop. ・By Car From the Imakumano intersection on Higashi-Oji Street, head south for about 100 meters.
