Korean BBQ doesn’t come cheap. If you want good quality meat, it’s a bit pricy, but hey, it’s super delicious. Historically, Korean BBQ was a way for people to gather and socialize, and it was also considered a luxury food because of the cost of meat. As South Korea’s economy grew in the 20th century, more people could afford meat, and Korean BBQ became more accessible. What’s your favorite BBQ type? I’m not that much samgyeopsal, but more moksal person!
