Unpopular opinion… but I don’t think Utah is the best state for National Parks… 🫣 Utah is known for the “Big 5” parks of Zion, Canyonlands, Arches, Capitol Reef and Bryce Canyon. And although I LOVE visiting Utah’s parks…. I think Washington has the edge. Mt. Rainier is an icon, and it’s a perfect park for hikers and non-hikers alike. North Cascades is a dream for those who love to get into the backcountry, and the landscapes rival any park. Olympic is so diverse and unique, and such a fun one to explore. (California and Alaska are also epic states for parks - 17 park between the two, and home to some of the best parks around. I haven’t been to all of the park in CA and AK so I don’t feel I can properly evaluate). #findyourpark #nationalpark #nationalparkgeek #beautifuldestinations
