Worth the hike, I’d say 🌋 🥹 As soon as I saw this place, I knew I HAD to go there … and it did not disappoint. 📍 Volcan Acatenango, Guatemala 🎟️ This hike requires a guide! We went with Wicho and Charlie’s and booked a private cabin. 🥾 8.5 miles RT, 5,200 feet of gain. If you go to Fuego, that adds around 3.2 miles RT and 2,500 feet of gain. 🧥 DRESS WARMLY. It gets very cold at night - I brought hand warmers to put in my clothes and I’m glad I did. Definitely make sure to layer up. #guatemala #visitguatemala #guatemalatravel
