When we decided to travel to Southeast Asia, I was very intentional about picking hotels that had two thing: air conditioning and a pool. my husband was behind the fact that we needed to have air-conditioning and every single hotel we stayed in, but the pool was better more of a fight until we landed in Bangkok and we struck by the heat. At every single hotel we stayed we ended up using the pools. It was such a great refreshing thing to do after we spent all day exploring. Our average hotel room was $24 a night. If you were traveling in Southeast Asia and are like us, you aren’t used to the humidity or the heat. I highly recommend you find hotels with these two things. It honestly was awesome and Thailand and Cambodia and Vietnam to be able to go take a quick dip when we’re done exploring and needed a few hours to recharge.
