Do you want to see penguins in the Milford Sound? Listen up! We got very lucky and saw several penguins not only waddling around but also swimming! However part of it was that we were on a small boat! We went with @cruisemilford instead of a larger company. Their boats fit up to 70 people but we only had 14 the day we sailed. Having a small boat allowed us to get super close to the shore line to see these penguins. Large tour boats that fit 200+ people are unable to get as close as we did nor did they go out at far! Now we did pay slightly more ($10 USD per person) but the experience was so worth it!
