Gwangjang Market in downtown Seoul was opened in 1905 and was the first permanent market to be opened while they were previously roving markets. Upstairs there are Hanbok vendors, there’s a vintage clothing market, and there are aisles of fabrics vendors and seamstresses too. * * But, these days, and definitely after being featured on @netflix for the food vendors, they’re most known by foreigners and tourists for the eats. From noodle soups to dumplings, spicy rice cakes, pigs feet, and more, there is so much goodness to enjoy here. I recommend going hungry and doing a vendor hop to try as much as you can. * * * 📍 Gwangjang Market, Seoul * * * * * * * #gwangjangmarket #광장시장 #culturetripfood #show_me_your_food #onthetableproject #eatnowplaylater #tablesituation #yougottaeatthis #storyofmytable #onmyplate #imagineyourkorea #iseoulu #ig_korea #visitseoul #seoul_korea #TLAsia
