Suwon Hwaseong Fortress is extra beautiful at night. It was built by the Joseon King Jeongjo who moved his father's tomb to Suwon at the end of the 18th century. It was also meant to protect the temporary royal palace, used by the king during war when staying in Seoul might be too dangerous.
