Comment (FOOD) to send you the link of this exact tour We went to Rome and tried some of the POPULAR TOURIST INSTAGRAM FOOD SPOTS and let’s be honest we were really disappointed by the food, prices and taste, also you need to que to find a spot. Some places were really tourist traps. • We wanted to try something more authentic and delicious so we booked a Trastevere food walking tour and wine tasting with getyourguide And trust me, I was impressed by the quality and the amount of food we ate, the only thing I regret is not going on this tour earlier in our trip as so many places we’d loved to have returned to. This twilight tour hits all the right spots. We visited several restaurants and had many portions sampling different foods and wine, with good explanations of “what’s what” on the menu and how to tell the authentic food from the rest. The guide was entertaining and informative. The food was great, the wine was great and we were very full before the tour was over! Some of highlights of our tour: Tasted the best food locals love, we visited 7 locations and tasted 13 samples of food including : pasta, pizza marinara, Gelato, Arancini, Carpaccio, burrata, Porchetta, Suppli, roast pork, top notch wine and Prosecco we Skiped the long lines at the award-winning trattoria Da Enzo al 29 we also discovered a wine cellar that is 150 years older than the Colosseum I highly recommend doing this tour when in Rome, it has 4.9 stars reviews and so worth it.
