▼Shop info▼ 📍Hachidaime Gihei @gihey_gionkyoto @hachidaime.gihey 🍚About Just in front of Yasaka Shrine, there’s a rice-focused restaurant where you can taste some of the finest rice in Kyoto. The rice is so beautifully fragrant and subtly sweet, it’s satisfying even on its own. Rather than relying solely on famous growing regions, Gihei selects rice from areas and producers whose quality stays consistent—even in the face of climate change. Their original low-temperature polishing method draws out the natural flavor of the grain, while their blending techniques and meticulous cooking process—from soaking to steaming—reflect a deep dedication to the craft. ◾︎Access 🚃By train ・From Keihan Railway “Gion-Shijo” Station (Approx. 8 minutes on foot) 1. Exit from Exit 6. You’ll find yourself in front of Minamiza Theater. 2. Turn right and walk straight along Shijo Street toward Yasaka Shrine. 3. At the “Gion” intersection, turn left. Our shop is the third building on the left. 🚌By bus From Kyoto Station • From Bus Stop A3: Take Kyoto City Bus No. 206 (approx. 15 minutes), get off at “Gion.” • From Bus Stop D1: Take Kyoto City Bus No. 100 (approx. 15 minutes), get off at “Gion.” ⸻ From Kiyomizu-dera Temple • From “Kiyomizu-michi” Bus Stop: Take Kyoto City Bus No. 202 (approx. 5 minutes), get off at “Gion.” #KyotoBeyondTheUsual #kyotofood #kyotolife #dayinmylifevlog #kyotostyle #gion #일본여행 #교토여행 #そうだ京都行こう #祇園
