This place truly seems taken out of a postcard! Hallstatt has been on my bucket list for years. I can’t believe how lucky I got, that I even got to see it with snow! ⛄️ ❄️ What a pinch me moment! This beautiful place has a population of less than 800 people, sadly it’s population is decreasing. The people you see are mainly the tourists. If you also have this place on your list, book the ticket! I flew to Salzburg and from there I took a half day tour with @getyourguide. It was an easy way to get there and as a bonus, we had an amazing guide that told us all about the scenic route we took! It was very informative. It really helps if you are short on time! If you do have some time to spare, you can take a different route, as there’s also a train that gets there from Salzburg and then you can take the ferry to cross the lake 😁 It’s a perfect weekend getaway 💙
