Will hike for views 🥾 🌊 Vernal Falls is one of the most powerful waterfalls in Yosemite but unlike many that can be seen from the Valley floor, you have to work for this one. 🗺️ The shortest route to the falls is via the Mist Trail, aptly named as the waterfall spray often spills over the trail. Though just a little over a mile, the trail is considered moderate to strenuous. Be prepared for crowds, slick rock stairs, getting wet, rainbows and pure awe. 🔝 Continue up 600 granite steps to see the top of the falls. 🅿️ We camped at Upper Pines Campground and rode our @bluejaybikes to the trailhead at Happy Isles, though it’s walkable from the campgrounds and Curry Village.
