*Update* Bar Shoji is now open for cocktails and bites! M-F 5pm-12am Finally visited the new Japanese cafe in SF @shoji_sf ✨ It’s a beautiful space and I enjoyed my experience 🍵 Here’s what you need to know if you want to go check it out👇 ❀ Open M-F 7am-3pm (but they’re opening their bar and restaurant soon which should extend their hours) ❀ They have a takeout counter at the front and indoor and patio seating in the back ❀ You can make a reservation on OpenTable - I was able to snag one same day - but they also take walk-ins ❀ Reservations have a 90-minute limit ❀ They have several bigger booths so if you come with a party of 2 you might be seated with another group at the same table ❀ No food as of now but they had a bakery pop-up when I was there ❀ I tried the match Einspanner which is their signature, it had good matcha flavor and isn’t too sweet, but it’s quite filling due to the amount of whipped cream ❀ They played what sounded like old school Japanese pop music which was cool!
