The first day of any trip can be rough with jet lag! Here are my main tips to trying to beat jet lag. Try to sleep in the plane! At any point sleeping will be helpful. I find that because I am in economy the sleep I get on planes doesn’t really impact when I want to go to sleep in the new country so it’s better to try and get some ZZZs Avoid Caffeine before your flight that will help you adjust better when you land. If you take a red eye try and follow your typical morning routine. Go to the bathroom before you land brush your teeth, brush your hair etc. your body will feel more awake after doing that! Try not to nap your first day. That is the hardest part to follow! Try to stay awake till 8pm this will help@your body clock adjust.
