Waterfall Wednesdays: Wellington Edition 🏞️ Waterfall number two is almost as good as last week's waterfall I shared, in my humble opinion. I do love this track though - it's a little bit rugged with a few shallow streams to cross, giving it a more wild vibe. I’m bringing you a different waterfall to explore in my hometown every Wednesday. These spots are all extremely precious, so please make sure that if you visit, you visit responsibly, and respect these amazing places we are lucky to live so close to! Your guide to visiting the waterfall in Seton Nossiter Park: 🥾 Trail: Waterfall Walk in Seton Nossiter Park 🕒 Estimated Return Time: Approximately 1 hour 🅿️ Parking: Free. Park at the main carpark on Mark Avenue. Also accessible via bus! 📅 When to visit: Year-round, but the waterfall is most impressive after rain. 📏 Difficulty: Easy to Moderate. The main trail is easy to follow. 🏔️ Elevation: Approximately 100 meters. 🤫 Secret: You can climb to the top of the waterfall! There’s a rope to the left that will assist you. Please be careful though, it is slippery! 👧👦 Family-friendly: Great for kids! The short walk and the exciting destination make it a perfect family outing. Bring snacks and a picnic to enjoy near the waterfall. ♿️ Accessibility: Not accessible due to steep paths and rugged terrain. 🚽 Facilities: There are no toilets. 🦮 Dog-Friendly: Dogs are allowed. However, always clean up after your pet and keep them under control. 🕶️ Shade: The trail is mostly shaded by native bush, providing a cool and comfortable walk even on warmer days. 🗑️ Leave no trace: Always respect the places you visit. 🙏 Follow @naturewithliam for more waterfalls, trail guides, and tips for exploring the great outdoors! #connecttonature #waterfallsofwellington #nzplacestovisit #thingstodowellington #bestwalksinwellington
