One Day, Four Pop-ups When you head to Seongsu-dong, you’ll inevitably run into a pop-up and you should definitely check out what’s going on. It always amazes me how many free products you can get in Korea just by being in the right place at the right time. Of course some of that takes planning and paying attention. Today, we checked out pop-ups by @hince_official @narka_you @ariul_official and @ahc.official Tips for finding pop-up: - Follow accounts that share up-to-date info on pop-ups in Seoul like: @pops.official_ @popupmate @popga_official - Follow the Korean brands you like and pay attention to when and where they’re hosting pop-ups. - You’ll need a Korean phone number for some popular pop-ups so that you register to wait to enter until you’re called. - Be prepared with your phone as you’ll likely need to follow the brands SNS accounts, join their KakaoTalk channel, etc in order to get the gift. - Go on a weekday if you can. Pop-ups will be even more popular and busier on the weekend. If you’re going on the weekend go to the ones you really want to visit first thing. Follow @thesoulofseoulblog for more things to see and do in Seoul. Also for the parents, pop-ups can be pretty fun for kids. Not every product is for them, but a lot of them have keychains, bags, or other gifts that your kids might love. Also, they will love to play the games, so don’t feel awkward taking them with you! #성수동 #성수팝업 #성수 #seongsu #seongsudong #seongsupopup #seoulpopup
