This was the one thing everyone said we *had* to do while in Tofino, on Vancouver Island: Visit Hot Springs Cove, which is a 1.5 hour boat ride away from the main town. The hot springs are right on the ocean, which creates a special experience where you can sit in hot water while cold waves ebb and flow in. It’s maintained by the Hesquiaht First Nation community. It was a little crowded when we went, but they limit the number of people who can go each day so it never gets overwhelmingly so. It was a fun experience and really unique, but it is pricey ($200-$250 per person, depending on what tour you choose) so I would only recommend splurging on it if you are excited to jump in the hot springs. Also, wear water shoes and bring a towel. Overall, though: a memorable time in a beautiful area.
