The first thing people tell me when I say me and my husband travel internationally 3-4 times a year is that we either have a trust fund or are in debt. Neither of those is true! Here are some tips for keeping cost low: 1. Pick locations that offer a ton of free or cheap activities. If you for to expensive cities yes you will spend a ton on activities. If you go to places that have free things to do you can save a ton! 2. You don’t need to stay at the nicest hotels. Seriously. I would prefer to spend our money elsewhere when traveling compared to a more expensive hotel! We do consider safety when booking though and cleanliness 3. Be flexible in dates, locations or both! The more flexible you can be on were or when you go the better flight deals you can get! 4. If possible, use public transportation! There is no reason to rent a car in on every trip. The price of the car, gas and parking can really add up! 5. Go grocery shopping. Go buy bagels or oatmeal packets for breakfast and you will save a ton on food!! #midrangetravel #itinerary #budgettravel #explore #adventure #traveltips #travelhacks
