Can you believe I did my first trip outside of Europe with an agency? I went with a friend and I was very new to travelling 😆 I came a long way and this is how I save money on trips nowadays: - I take advantage of food markets and super markets, having usually only one meal in a restaurant per day, usually dinner, but depending on length and where I am staying might be not even that. - I travel a lot of season too. Portugal, Greece, Italy and Spain are great to travel in September and even beginning of October for the last days of sunshine ☀️ - Prioritise free activities. Of course sometimes I do paid activities, depending on what it is, but do your research, you would be surprised at how many activities are free! - Use public transport wisely: I see so many people coming to London for example and just using underground between 2 stations, which it can be even quicker to walk 😅, organise your trips by zones so you can walk between sites and usually there are fares that can be cheaper if you buy tickets in block.
