Once I get an idea, I act on it right away 🙈 So I headed to Unaru, a place that’s serious about their eel—each order is skewered and grilled slowly over charcoal, right in front of you at the counter🔥 One word to describe their unagi? “Savor the skin”🥺 I used to prefer the fluffy Kanto-style eel, but ever since I tasted their Kansai-style grilled over direct fire, I’m totally hooked👍 I ordered the “Whole Eel Half & Half” with kabayaki and shirayaki. You can also choose from kabayaki, shirayaki, or sake-steamed—and even customize the portion size, which is perfect for picky eaters like me💕💕 Since it’s a shared kitchen spot, it might be hard to find unless you look it up first🤔 Also, they start grilling after you order, so go when you’ve got time to spare!
