When I was in elementary school, I told my fifth grade teacher my favorite book was the thesaurus. I loved how there could be so many words for one mundane word we use every day and I had the perfect place to look up all of the options. I had no idea moving to Korea would lead me down the writing path that I now have. Trying to share more with my family back home through a website because calling cards (yes, I’ve been in Korea that long) only lasted an hour and 20 minutes and couldn’t possibly allow me to share everything, was the start of something pretty amazing. Because of The Soul of Seoul, I’ve had the opportunity to be on CNN, the BBC, Samantha Browns Places to Love, American Airlines in-flight magazine, write for Forbes Travel Guide, Cathay Pacific’s in-flight magazine, Visit Korea, Lonely Planet, and work with so many other amazing companies and brands like Marriott, Signiel Hotel, KAHI, OSULLOC, Covernat, and so many more. I planned to live in Korea for one year… and that one year changed my life.
