The perfect 1-day itinerary in Point Reyes! Save this for your next weekend adventure in the Bay Area 🌊 ★ 9am - I highly recommend arriving no later than this especially on the weekend because parking in many spots will be tough to find. Start your day with some delicious pastries from @brickmaidenbreads 🥐 ★ 9:45am - Cypress Tree Tunnel ★ 10:30am - South Beach Overlook, one of the prettiest viewpoints in the Bay Area ★ 11am: Point Reyes Lighthouse. Be prepared to climb 300+ steps down and back up! ★ 11:45am - Elephant Seal Overlook. A short and easy hike ★ 12pm - Chimney Rock Trail. A slightly longer but still easy hike with great views. Trail starts at the same parking lot as Elephant Seal Overlook ★ 1pm - Drakes Beach. We saw an elephant seal up close here! But not too close, be sure to stay at least 25 feet away 🦭 ★ 1:30pm - Point Reyes Shipwrecks ★ 2:30pm - Late lunch at @the.marshall.store 🦪 They have great oysters and other seafood, with views overlooking Tomales Bay. It’s a very popular spot so be prepared to wait ★ 4pm - Sparkling mead tasting at @heidrunmeadery 🥂 They have great honey wines as well as honey and honey products, and the grounds are absolutely gorgeous! 📌 Have you been to Point Reyes before?
