It’s honestly hard to believe this track is only minutes from the motorway. 📅 When to go: This track is gorgeous year-round, but especially stunning after light rain when the forest feels extra alive with the smell of petrichor. 🚶 How to get there: Park at either Tui Glen Rd or Lake Rd for easy access — both have clear signs pointing you into the reserve. The walkway loops are short and family-friendly, with boardwalks and bush tracks. 🌦️ What to expect: Expect mud in winter, shade in summer, and lots of photo-worthy spots. Keep an eye out for native birds and follow the instructions at the hygiene stations to help protect the kauri!
