▼Spot info▼ 📍Gion Sakai @gion_sakai 🍇About This patisserie is located on Hanamikoji Street in Gion and is well known for its artful cakes that reflect the changing seasons. The cake I chose, inspired by a water balloon and made with grapes, had a delightful melt-in-your-mouth texture and a refreshing juiciness. Several mint-infused grapes sat at the center, wrapped in a generous layer of buttercream that balanced sweetness with brightness. What made it feel grown-up was the base: a white wine–infused savarin soaked in lychee syrup. Truly a beautiful and delicious creation. 🗺️Address 570-122 Gionmachi Minamigawa, Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture, 605-0074, Japan 🚃Access For those using the train: •Keihan Main Line / Gion-Shijo Station: 5-minute walk (330m) •Hankyu Kyoto Main Line / Kyoto-Kawaramachi Station: 8-minute walk (600m) •Kyoto Municipal Subway Tozai Line / Sanjo Keihan Station: 9-minute walk (700m) 🕙Opening hours Shop: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM Café: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Last order: 4:30 PM) Closed on Thursdays #kyotosweets #gionkyoto #祇園カフェ #교토카페
