I imagined my left and right brain wired by copper, cast in clear glass. The left brain came out slightly smaller — it was cast in an alginate mold made from the right. Almost like how my brain really works. The logical side shaped by the intuitive. Copper, one of the few materials that bonds with glass, leaves a green trace — a line made of metal and fire. I still don’t fully understand how my brain works, but I’m endlessly curious — about myself, and about glass. - Deep thanks to @jessimoorenotless (thank you so much for letting me experiment with copper wires) and @catarina_cubelo for the expert guidance and generous tips along the way. - Made @urbanglass_nyc - #glasscast #castglass #glasscasting #castingglass #copperwire #copperwireglass #glasscopper #copperglass #glasssculpture #glassbrain
