Have you been to Eunpyeong Hanok Village? It’s a pretty nice place on the outskirts of Seoul. The whole area is dedicated to hanoks - traditional Korean houses that are being modified a bit to keep the same principle but accommodate some modern commodities. Maintaining such a home doesn’t come cheap, but the Korean government subsidizes some repairs. Many houses here are up for rent, and some are even looking for long-term tenants. I would definitely want to live in such a house! How about you?
