Laguna Esmeralda near Ushuaia was my favorite hike we did in Argentina! It’s a fairly easy hike, the scenery along the way was beautiful, and the reward at the end was a stunning glacial lake. Read on for more info and save this post for your visit! ⭐️ 6 miles out and back with 800 feet elevation gain ⭐️ It’s a 20 minute car ride away from the town of Ushuaia ⭐️ It’s a popular spot so I highly recommend going early! We arrived at the trailhead just after 8am and there were 2 cars already in the parking lot. But we ended up passing them on the trail so we were the first ones at the lake.
