LOCATION ⬇️ Save this post for later if you're planning a trip around New Zealand! 📌 I couldn’t believe how crystal-clear the water here was. It’s so pure it supplies around 60% of New Zealand’s bottled water. 📍 Blue Spring, Waikato 🌿 The best time to go is early in the morning or on a weekday to avoid crowds. The water is stunning no matter the season! And in full sunlight you can see its true pureness. 🚶♂️ Te Waihou Walkway is an easy, well-maintained 4.7km (one way) track from the Whites Road entrance. If you don’t want to walk the full trail, there’s a shorter 15-minute option from the Leslie Road car park which leads to a viewing platform. 👎 Please don’t swim here. It’s not technically banned but places like this require our protection to stay so pristine, and this means admiring it from a distance. Besides, its pretty damn cold!
