How we afford to travel so much💰☁️ 🏡 Limit expenses at home: We don’t finance cars, don’t have huge mortgage or buy designer items when we’re at home. These are all things that can come later in life (I’m not sure if we will ever want them though!) but travelling whilst we’re young is the priority. 🍳 Self catering accommodations: When we first started travelling we’d only do all inclusives/eat at restaurants, but now we look for accomodations with kitchens and fridges so we can do a food shop, cook meals ourselves and save money. ⏰ Travel out of season: We’re lucky that we don’t have kids or jobs that tie us down to travelling in peak seasons. My favourite time to travel is Jan - March and Sept - Oct and the whole trip is SO much cheaper. ✈️ Book flights in advance: And they’re never fancy flights either, economy all the way! We’re not loyal to one airline either. I just search SkyScanner or Kayak for the very cheapest option. I try to book all flights at least 6 months in advance. 🇬🇧 UK breaks still = holiday: Some of our all time favourite trips ever have been in the UK and don’t include the cost of flights. Going away in the UK is most definitely still a holiday (plus they’re dog friendly!! 🐶) 📲 Social media: I’ve built up a social media platform which means I can sometimes exchange content for trips working with tourism boards and hotels etc. I try not to do too many to these though as it is definitely a work trip, not a relaxing holiday. #MidBudgetTravel #TravelHacks #TravelCouple #HowToTravel #BudgetTravel
