A little diary for myself to look back to later: 1️⃣ Went Ice Skating with @gunuw228 at Seoul Plaza.. so freshly in love, who would’ve known we still will be that way end of the year ❤️ 2️⃣ On our way to spend Seollal (Korean New Year) with his parents.. first time for me to spend a traditional Holiday with Koreans 🎉 3️⃣ Cherry Blossom was too short in 2023 - reminder to enjoy every day the fullest 🌸 4️⃣ Felt so stressed because of jobs, visa stuff & our trip to Germany.. so I decided to have a looong walk home instead of taking the subway - watched the sunset above Han River 🌅 5️⃣ After our trip to Germany I struggled with homesickness, so @gunuw228 took me on a bike & picnic date to Yeouido as I told him that was my way to cope during my first year 🚲 6️⃣ After we had a fun drinking & drawing session we - slightly drunk - walked home with this view of Lotte Tower 📸 7️⃣ Weekend Trip with his family to some beaches at the west coast.. realizing that his family accepted me as part of them despite language barriers and cultural differences 🏡 8️⃣ The most amazing (and quite cheap) Experience in Seoul from April to October: the Sunset Rainbow Yacht Tour 🛥️ 🔗 Link in my experience Guide! 9️⃣ Spontaneously walking to the beach of Jindo Island even though we most definitely had not enough time.. cause “you can’t go on a trip to the coast without seeing the ocean” 🌊 1️⃣0️⃣ Ah Jeju Island… Not much to say about this trip here.. it was so full with amazing memories and feelings that no words would do it justice. 🏝️ 1️⃣1️⃣ During our Fall Foliage trip to Andong we walked along this bridge in the evening and I once again was so amazed by the beauty of smaller cities in Korea ❤️ 1️⃣2️⃣ It’s my German Family’s Tradition to go watch a ballet or opera before or during Christmas.. So @gunuw228 got us tickets for the Nutcracker in Seoul together with his family and one of my favorite friends I met in 2023 @instannelly ❤️ #gratitude #throwback #diary #korea #seoul #expat #southkorea #livingabroad #moveabroad #korealife #seoullife
