Do you use rolling luggage? After traveling to over a dozen countries, inter-railing Europe, exploring Cuba and Peru and adventuring in Southeast Asia I will never use a rolling suitcase. Getting rolling luggage down cobblestone streets is the fastest way to bring attention to yourself as well as damage your luggage. I have seen a wheel or two literally pop off due to this… Prague is a great example as why you should NOT bring a rolling suitcase with you because of how the old town is laid out. If you are coming via train you will have to walk a ways to get to your hotel since trying to drive while possible takes forever. If you are coming via airport the car you take will most likely have to drop you off and you will have to walk. I saw several folks dragging luggage behind them on the Charles Bridge, having it hit people and run over people😣 I have been traveling with just a carry in backpack and the ease of use when walking long distances, up stairs, and on cobblestone streets is what keeps me from going back to a rolling suitcase! On top of that carry on only will save you money and time of not having to pay to check your bag!
