Is the boat tour you choose in Milford sound really a big deal? Absolutely! I spent hours researching to find the best boat for us! I know it can be overwhelming because there are so many tour companies! I finally narrowed it down and picked @cruisemilford as the boat we would take into the Milford. Even thought it was more expensive, I picked it for several reasons: 1. The boat has a capacity of 140 but won’t fill it past 70. The day we went though we only had 14 of us! 2. They had a 8:45am boat ride which we wanted to do before the crowds came (also for parking) 3. Because it was a small cruise the staff was so great in answering all our questions 4. We were in a boat half the size of some of the other big tour companies which allowed us to get close enough to shore to see PENGUINS which was a dream of mine! 5. The boat had plenty of coffee and tea and biscuits for us which was great cause it was raining and cool. Overall, the Milford Sound experience can be made or broke by the tour company you pick!
