My favourite short hike in Nelson 🥾😍 (save for later!) despite no dogs being allowed 🐕 The hike up to Sentinel Lookout overlooking Cable Bay takes a bit of effort, but the panoramic views at the top are absolutely worth it 🙌 I did this trail in a rush for sunset in the evening and was treated to a spectacular show! This trail offers one of the most breathtaking views in the Nelson/Tasman area, with sweeping vistas of the coastline and lush greenery. Though it's not as popular as some other trails, I highly recommend making the trip as it is short and easy (aside from the steep climb)! 🪧 Begins at Cable Bay 🥾 6km & 450m of elevation gain round trip 💦 Bring plenty of water and snacks. Even though the elevation gain is short and sweet, staying hydrated and energised is key! ⏰ If you have time, explore the nearby Cable Bay beach and enjoy a refreshing swim 🗑️ Always remember to leave no trace!
