Most beautiful place to stay on Vancouver Island? Possibly. But what I know for sure is that @brokenislandslodge was an unexpected highlight of our trip on Vancouver Island. . It’s located on a small patch of Vancouver Island coast right on the edge of the Broken Islands group that’s only accessible by boat or the lodge’s water taxi. This area has some absolutely stunning nature and, thanks to its remote location, it’s very quiet and peaceful too. It’s a popular starting point for kayak camping out in the Broken Islands, though you can also just stay at the lodge and do day trips around nearby islands (which is what we did). They also offer kayak rentals for campers. . Overnight stays at the lodge include breakfast and dinner, and at $300 USD per night for two, was totally affordable. Rooms are simple but clean and comfortable, outdoor spaces were lovely, and the friendly atmosphere gave it a bit of an adult summer camp vibe. 10/10 would recommend this hidden gem. . 👉 Follow @wheresjessieb for more off the beaten path travel ideas. . #ExploreBC #vancouverisland #brokenislands #exploreoutdoors #uniquehotels #wheresjessiebstaying
