📍Knik Glacier, Alaska . Taking a helicopter to explore the Knik glacier outside of Anchorage, Alaska with @alaskahelicoptertours is easily of one of the coolest, most awe-inspiring experiences I’ve ever had—thanks largely to the scale of everything around us (chunks of ice have to be at least 25 acres to be considered a glacier), as well as the colors (glaciers are an incredible blue because they are so dense, and when the light hits these sheets, it absorbs all the other colors on the spectrum except for blue light.) .
