The K-pop concert season is open; I’m excited to see one of the first k-pop bands (KARD) I’ve ever liked and followed back in 2017 when I was “forced” into Korean music trends by canceling my Spotify and adopting the Melon music service. It’s been an excellent discovery experience, and now if you see my favorite Korean music list, you will be surprised (lots of OST, be warned).The G-kpop concert just in front of COEX in Gangnam was a terrific experience. It celebrates the the diversity, the opportunities, and the fantastic progress of this part of the city. The lineup was incredible, in order of appearance: Mirae - is super cute and talented. They definitely are on to something. I hope they get bigger exposure. KARD - my all-time favorites. Their music is touching, contemporary, and cool, the best act of the night for me. @bigmatthewww was dressed so well!. EVERGLOW - I do not know much about this girl group, but they rocked the stage. Highlight - these guys had lots of fans from the concert attendees. I loved their energy and performance. What’s your favorite?
