Have you ever done a swamp tour before? If you’re ever in New Orleans, this is a must do! ⚜️ We did a small airboat tour with @airboatadv and had a blast! Here’s what you need to know: • Located about 35 minutes outside of New Orleans; we drove but they offer pickup from hotels in New Orleans as well • Airboats are loud! I highly recommend using the provided ear protection • They can go pretty fast and you’ll definitely get a thrill out of it • But the bayou can also be so peaceful and beautiful; I loved it when the boat slowed glided through the water and among the trees dripping with Spanish moss • We saw lots of alligators! We felt safe with our guide but be sure to follow all instructions as they are still wild animals • Airboats are not covered so definitely wear sun protection • They also have large airboats and pontoon boats, but I recommend the small airboat for a more intimate experience and better access to all parts of the bayou What do you think?
