I have been to Paris 3 times now and here are 5 of the things I wish I knew before! 1. Everyone flocks to the Eiffel Tower, but you will soon realise the best views are from the several view points across the city. 2. Pickpockets, while nothing happened to me, I was pretty shocked at the amount of scammers and people harassing you to buy things, so thread carefully around busy areas 3.The Eiffel Tower sparkles every hour, so be ready or you need to wait another hour! 4. Paris is a busy city, so if there’s something you want to do, book in advance. 5. Restaurants give you tap water but you have to ask for it, otherwise you get a bottle of water. Be specific.
