This is one of my all time favourite temples in Japan! I love the little darumas scattered all over the temple. You can find them in the most random spots- on a tree branch, inside a water pipe, on the bridge, on the walls, floating in the water, etc. The temple itself is super wide and spacious so it doesn’t get overcrowded. I’m the type of person that gets tired walking in Harajuku or Shinsaibashi with huge crowds so if you’re like this too Katsuoji is the place for you to unwind! 📍Katsuo-ji Temple.
